Pet Blessing and Free Prayer

October 4 is the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals and the environment. To commemorate this observance, First Church Des Plaines will offer pet blessings and free prayer on our lawn Wednesday, October 4 from 5-8pm and Saturday, October 7 from 8-11am. Stop by anytime for prayer and a blessing for furry, feathery, fluffy, slimy and spikey friends of all shapes and sizes.
