Meet Our Pastor
Dr. Audrea Fumbanks Nanabray
Dr. Nanabray has been both an ordained Pastor in the United Methodist Church and a social worker licensed in the State of Illinois since 1993, having simultaneously trained in ministry and social work in college and graduate school.
She has also served as an adjunct faculty member of two colleges in Illinois: the College of DuPage (2004 – 2008), teaching English as a Second Language, Ethics, and Religions of the World; and Trinity Christian College (2008), teaching the Christian World View.
Dr. Nanabray has been a Rule of Christ Trainer since 2015, helping UM churches across the Northern Illinois Conference navigate through conflict resolution and discover strategies for communication and mutual understanding which facilitate a more optimal practice of ministry.
Dr. Nanabray has a Bachelor of Science degree from Bradley University, a Master of Divinity from the Chicago Theological Seminary, a Master of Arts in Social Service Administration from the University of Chicago and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from The Union Institute & University.
She is married to a great man of prayer and faith, Mr. Samuel Nanabray. They have five children.
