Today's question:
"Jesus heard that they had driven him out, and when he found him, he said, "Do you believe in the Son of Man?"
From John 9:
30 The man answered, “Why, this is an amazing thing! You do not know where he comes from, and yet he opened my eyes. 31 We know that God does not listen to sinners, but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does his will, God listens to him. 32 Never since the world began has it been heard that anyone opened the eyes of a man born blind. 33 If this man were not from God, he could do nothing.” 34 They answered him, “You were born in utter sin, and would you teach us?” And they cast him out.
35 Jesus heard that they had cast him out, and having found him he said, “Do you believe in the Son of Man?”

Reflection from Larry Maloney
Jesus had cured this man of his blindness, and the man's reward when he shared his joy was to be called a sinner by the Pharisees. The religious leaders of the time drove this man out, they ostracized him. When people share their joy with me, do I ridicule them? Do I call them sinners? Do I drive them out? Sometimes people look at you like you're crazy when you share your joy. It makes you vulnerable, in a way. But if we believe Jesus is the Christ, the Son of Man, we shouldn't fear attesting and witnessing to this.
Prayer:
Lord, make me courageous like the man who had been cured of his blindness. I once was blind, but now I see. What do I believe in? Do I believe in the Son of Man? Yes, Lord, I believe!

Larry, Thanks for sharing. No blindness is as bad as spiritual blindness. May God open our eyes that we may see.
