Conversations

Coming in July. Mark the dates.
Thursday evenings | Church Lawn at 668 Graceland Ave
Bring a lawn chair or blanket and join your neighbors for meaningful conversation under the trees.
How do we -as a people- pray?
Each Thursday evening in July, we're gathering on our church lawn to explore an important question: How do people pray?

We've invited friends from different faith traditions—Buddhist, Muslim, Jewish, Hindu, and various Christian communities—to share how prayer shapes their spiritual lives. You'll hear personal stories, witness prayer practices, and have the opportunity to ask questions in a respectful, welcoming environment.

This is a conversation, not a lecture. We're learning together.
What to Expect
Authentic voices. People sharing genuine experiences from their own faith journeys.

Experiential learning. Opportunities to observe and participate in different prayer traditions. Participation is always optional and respectful.

Cultural understanding. Discover the rituals, symbols, and meanings behind different prayer practices.

Family-friendly. Children are welcome. We'll provide activities for kids while adults engage in conversation.

Relaxed setting. This is an outdoor gathering. Arrive when you can, stay as long as you like. Bring a lawn chair or blanket. We'll provide refreshments.

Who Should Come?
This series is for anyone curious about how different communities approach prayer and spirituality.

You don't need to be religious. You don't need to belong to a church. You don't even need to pray yourself. If you're interested in understanding your neighbors better, learning about different cultures, or exploring questions about faith—you're welcome here.

We're creating space for honest questions and respectful conversation. Come as you are.
This is a No-Charge, No-Offering program. Come as you are. Last minute walk-ins are welcome.
