Together in Christ: Brief Stories from Our Church Community

The beauty of candlelight on a Christmas Eve.

We spent an hour in our Olde English sanctuary singing carols and, of course, reading the Christmas Story. Then, with the room lights darkened, we closed with Silent Night. The photos say it all.

It Was Time to Retire Nearly 1,000 Prayer Flags

This summer, our community worked together to collect almost 1,000 prayer flags near First Church. Neighbors made their own colorful flags, especially during our Celebration of Unity event.

The inspiring prayer flag collection has completed its journey. Following tradition, the flags that brought our community together were respectfully retired after months of sending their messages into the wind.

During the summer, the flags were hung on lines crisscrossing our big front lawn.

Faded prayer flags take their final flight, releasing blessings into the sky with the rising smoke.

A Big Welcome to Our New Friends at Iglesia Casa de la Gracia!

The congregation at Iglesia Casa de la Gracia has moved into our building. We look forward to working with them in Christ’s ministry. 

 

When we work together, we make our community stronger. We’re excited to spread God’s love and light as we join in faith.
